The Shic P-1000T portable media player has lots of similarity with its predecessor, the P-1000 PMP, while it does come some update with DVB-T USB stick, remote control, and DVB-T antenna. What does the DVB mean? Right, you can view free digital TV on the 4-inch TFT display of this portable media player and record programs and movies in MPEG-4 format. This portable media player supports DivX, XviD, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 MPEG-4, WMV, AVI, and VOB video files and MP3, WMA, and WAV audio files. It can also display JPG, GIF, and BMP pictures. The Shic P-1000T PMP has 30GB hard drive, but the battery life is not satisfied with 10 hours for audio playback and 5 hours for video playback. It is said that this portable media player will retail for around $450 in China. Is it sky-high, at least I think so.
